Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in private residences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The main responsibility of this position will be to fulfill care plans as are agreed upon between the company and the client.

Duties

As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for a range of duties aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administering medication from pre-filled containers as prescribed and monitoring medication schedules.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients.
  • Supporting clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
  • Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
  • Documenting daily care activities and any changes in client conditions as required.

Experience

Candidates should possess relevant experience or skills that will enable them to provide high-quality care. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care settings.
  • Familiarity with senior care practices and working with individuals with disabilities or dementia.
  • Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including patient care techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining a focus on client comfort.
  • Nursing students in third or fourth year are welcome

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
