Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and tools. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks
  • Handle low voltage and high voltage electrical systems as needed
  • Collaborate with other trades on renovation and construction projects to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

  • Proven experience as an electrician in both residential and commercial settings
  • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently
