Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for reading blueprint drawings and constructing molds for precast concrete panels. Other duties will include, cutting, and measuring materials according to a blueprint requirement.

A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills. You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field.

Responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:

· Construct, assemble, and maintain large-scale forms and molds used for casting precast concrete panels.

· Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications to ensure accurate form construction and alignment.

· Measure, cut, and fit wood, metal, or composite materials to build strong and precise formwork.

· Install and secure forms in the casting area, ensuring structural integrity to withstand wet concrete loads.

· Perform inspections and adjustments of forms to maintain quality, dimensional accuracy, and safety standards.

· Collaborate with production teams to meet daily casting schedules and ensure smooth workflow.

· Dismantle forms safely after concrete has cured and prepare them for reuse.

· Assist supervisors with planning, layout, and installation of complex form systems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve form-related issues during casting to prevent production delays.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.

· Document completed work and communicate progress, issues, or concerns to supervisors and quality control personnel.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to support form construction and adjustment.

· Demonstrate physical capability to lift, climb, pull, and work in challenging positions for extended periods.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship for carpentry.
• Additional certification may be required.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
• Knowledge of mathematics.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
