Responsibilities

  • As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice, you'll work alongside a licensed journeyperson on commercial HVAC/R installs, service calls, and preventative maintenance. During slower periods, you'll support our shop operations—keeping the space organized, repairing tools, managing inventory, and helping stage materials for upcoming jobs.

Must-Haves

  • Registered (or eligible to register) as a 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Apprentice in Ontario.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Safety-first mindset and professional communication with teammates and customers.
  • Clean criminal record.

Nice to Haves

  • ODP/ODS certification (or in progress).
  • G3 Gas Technician certificate (G2/G1 a plus).
  • WHMIS, Working at Heights, lift/forklift certifications.
  • Experience with basic hand/power tools, brazing/soldering, and multimeters.
  • Prior exposure to supermarket/large commercial refrigeration or BAS/controls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
