Stratica Total Care Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality healthcare services to our patients in Edmonton and the surrounding area. We are located directly below a dermatology clinic. We focus on building strong relationships with our patients and healthcare providers to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, patient-focused professional with strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to exceptional service. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, injections, providing clinical consultations, and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
  • Provide patient counseling on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Perform medication reviews and provide clinical services such as immunizations, adaptations, and prescribing (where authorized).
  • Maintain compliance with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) standards and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee pharmacy assistant and ensure safe, efficient workflow.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Stratica Total Care Pharmacy's reputation for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Authorization to administer injections and perform additional prescribing is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time position: Monday to Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM. No weekends or statutory holidays.
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
