Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and acrylics with precision and attention to detail
  • Educate clients on nail care, maintenance, and aftercare tips to promote healthy nails
  • Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
  • Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client needs effectively
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client flow and satisfaction
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations

Requirements

  • Valid state licensing or certification as a Nail Technician in Nova Scotia
  • Experience in nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, or acrylics is preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members
  • Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not mandatory
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
