About the role

The IT Infrastructure team is seeking an Advisor - Load Balancing / Networking to help support and maintain our enterprise load balancing environment, with a focus on Citrix NetScaler (ADC) platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their IT career who has a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and a desire to grow their expertise in load balancing technologies and enterprise infrastructure operations.

You'll work as part of a collaborative team supporting the performance, availability, and security of applications across our organization.

What you'll do here:

• Support and maintain Citrix NetScaler load balancer infrastructure within the enterprise network.
• Assist with configuring and updating load balancing policies, virtual servers, and service groups.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of load balancing and network connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with network, server, and application teams to support service availability and traffic management.
• Participate in change management processes, including scheduled maintenance and documentation updates.
• Help manage SSL certificates and basic security settings on NetScaler devices.
• Documentation, monitoring improvements, and process automation.Contribute to infrastructure

What you bring to the table:

• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).
• Familiarity with Citrix NetScaler or similar load balancing platforms
• Basic understanding of how applications are delivered across network layers.
• Exposure to SSL/TLS, reverse proxies, and content switching.
• Experience working within a corporate IT infrastructure or NOC environment.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation or reporting.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Citrix CCA-N, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately when needed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
