Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues, including but not limited to refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
  • Perform repairs on appliances using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand appliance functions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex repairs or installations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on electrical systems and HVAC units.
  • Assist in the assembly of new appliances when required.

Skills

  • Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring and circuitry.
  • Mechanical knowledge to effectively troubleshoot and repair various appliances.
  • Proven experience in appliance repair, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing issues quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their concerns.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation related to appliance systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus for comprehensive service capabilities.
