Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing and custom cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics to produce high-quality cabinets and related woodwork. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial installations, utilizing a variety of hand tools and power tools. The position requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and wood components.
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
  • Perform concrete forming, masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, and other construction-related tasks as needed.
  • Handle restoration projects involving cabinetry repair or refurbishment.
  • Install cabinets securely in various settings including residential and commercial spaces.
  • Conduct finishing tasks such as sanding, painting, caulking, and touch-ups to ensure a polished final product.
  • Measure materials precisely for accurate fabrication and installation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and rebar installation when required for structural projects related to cabinetry or framing.

Experience

  • Proven experience in woodworking, cabinetry making, or related construction trades.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of construction painting, electrical experience, plumbing basics, maintenance person skills, masonry techniques, roofing procedures, rebar installation, siding application, flooring installation including tile laying.
  • Experience in restoration projects or custom cabinetry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
