- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team (Coordinating Teacher, SLP, OT, PT).
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of individualized program plans under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist to target fine motor skills, adaptive functioning, and regulation.
- Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Provide training and guidance to Educational Assistants (EAs) to reinforce strategies across a child's day.
- Plan and prepare materials for therapy sessions.
- Organize, clean, and purchase materials as required.
What You Bring
- Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
- Experience supporting preschool-aged children and familiarity with early intervention.

- Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating across disciplines.
- Physical ability to engage with young children (kneeling, squatting, occasional lifting/running).
Safety & Logistics
- Valid Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention Record Check (within 6 months of hire).
- Valid Alberta Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Standard First Aid & CPR – required within 90 days.
- Willingness to wear PPE for site visits as needed.
- Occasional evening/weekend flexibility required (maybe once or twice a year).
