About Us:

Dim Sum House is a fast-paced, authentic Chinese restaurant committed to delivering fresh, high-quality dishes to our customers. We are expanding our kitchen team and looking for an experienced Wok Cook / Stir-Fry Chef to join us.

Job Summary:

As a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards. You'll work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that every plate is made with consistency, accuracy, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook stir-fry dishes, fried noodles, fried rice, and other hot menu items
  • Operate the wok station independently and maintain consistent food quality
  • Follow standard recipes and ensure timely food preparation during peak hours
  • Keep the workstation clean and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations
  • Follow company safety policies and OHSA requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a wok cook or in Chinese hot-kitchen cooking (required)
  • Strong skills in high-heat stir-fry and heat control
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Food Handler Certificate is an asset
