Sentinel Dock & Door Solutions is a Canadian company that provides commercial dock and door services. Established in 2025 by Trivest Partners, a private equity firm, Sentinel was formed through the acquisition of the following regional service providers: Lenworth Building Services, Pro Door & Dock Systems, Mar-Lin Dock & Door, Door Doctor and Secord Docks. These companies specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment for commercial and industrial facilities.

Sentinel Dock & Door located in Oakville is looking for a Marketing Coordinator, who will be responsible for executing a diverse portfolio of internal and external projects, including content creation, event coordination and sales enablement to increase brand awareness and drive business growth. The Marketing Coordinator will have to be experienced in B2B marketing, strong communication skills, graphic design, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities: 

Social Media

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop a social media calendar and content that is timely, accurate, and relevant to the business
  • Coordinate with agencies to plan, schedule and execute organic social media, campaigns for partner brands across platforms like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Manage and maintain Sentinel's LinkedIn presence, building an industry thought leader position.
  • Ensure content consistency (voice, tone, visuals) across brands and social platforms.
  • Report on performance and continuous optimization.

Event Coordination

  • Organize and manage participation in trade shows including booth design, banners,collateral, and event logistics to budget.
  • Collaborate with agencies and vendors to create impactful booth experiences.
  • Ensure pre and post event marketing communications are timely; and leads are captured in the system.
  • Coordinate efforts for internally hosted events, such as management meetings, sales summits, kick-offs, and customer appreciation.

Content Development & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and maintain marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, templates, and promotional items for all portfolio brands.
  • Support the sales team with tailored collateral to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Internal Branding & Communication

  • Support the operations team with brand-related efforts, such as fleet and workforce apparel.
  • Support HR with employer brand-related efforts, such as posters and templates.
  • Lead the development of our internal employee newsletter, working with key stakeholders for content collection.
  • Support Senior Marketing and Management Team with the coordination of Town Halls.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports to the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B or industrial sector.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the dock and door industry is an advantage but not required

  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging and persuasive marketing content.
  • Knowledge of CRM and lead generation tools to support sales initiatives.
  • Strong graphic design and branding skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva preferred).
  • Experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Ability to adapt to new marketing trends and technologies.
