Do you have a passion for cars and a knack for connecting with people?

We're looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our service department, you'll help customers keep their vehicles running safely and smoothly while providing an experience that keeps them coming back. The Service Advisor intakes the vehicle, confirms the concerns with the customer, advises the customer of recommended maintenance/repairs, creates estimates, and communicates with the technicians to ensure the vehicle is repaired correctly and the customer is satisfied.

The responsibilities of an Automotive Service Advisor or Writer include:

  • Greet customers warmly and listen to their vehicle concerns
  • Accurately write up repair orders and explain recommended services
  • Booking customer appointments via phone or email
  • Verifying warranty and service contract coverage
  • Advising customers of recommended maintenance and corrective repairs
  • Creating estimates for customers
  • Communicate clearly with technicians and customers throughout the repair process
  • Describing to customers the symptoms, problems, and causes discovered as well as corrective actions required for their vehicle
  • Ensure every vehicle is completed on time and meets our quality standards
  • Build long-term customer relationships through trust and transparency

The Successful applicant should:

  • Have 1–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in customer service/automotive roles
  • Be customer oriented
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Be computer literate and a fast typer
  • Experience with PBS Dealer Management System is an asset
  • Have a passion for vehicles
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Possess some technical automotive knowledge
  • Have experience with computerized repair ordering systems
  • Ability to keep up with a fast paced work environment
  • Previous dealership experience would be an asset
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be a strong asset
