Role Description:

Help-Care Network is seeking a Volunteer or Contracted
Grant Writer
to support funding applications for patient navigation, diagnostic access, and systems-level health equity work across Canada.

This role is ideal for someone who values precision, ethics, and clear storytelling grounded in evidence and lived experience.

What you'll work on:

  • Researching relevant Canadian grants and foundations
  • Drafting and editing grant applications
  • Translating complex healthcare gaps into clear, funder-appropriate language
  • Collaborating with leadership to align proposals with program goals

What we're looking for:

  • Experience with grant writing or strong research/writing background
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or healthcare funding (asset, not required)
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely, and credibly
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Values-aligned approach to patient-led work
