Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service and customer interaction within a supportive team setting.

Duties

  • Greet and serve customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, plating, and portioning
  • Serve beverages, including barista-style coffee or specialty drinks if applicable
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries or requests to enhance their dining experience
  • Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with serving or barista duties is advantageous but not required
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
