Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of food quality and safety while ensuring exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction

Experience

  • Proven experience in a Sous Chef or similar role within the food industry
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food
  • Previous experience in a restaurant environment is essential, with a focus on hospitality
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for culinary excellence
