The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for performing housekeeping, cleaning and sanitizing duties of assigned areas of the property. The hours for this position are Monday- Friday 2:00pm to 6:00pm, with occasional weekends when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean the office areas, lunch room, and washrooms on a regular basis; this includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, general cleanup, vacuuming, etc.;
  • Complete Housekeeping paperwork in timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with safety procedures;
  • Ensure any trip or fall hazards are properly identified, ie. wet floors or stairs
  • Safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitizers;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Position- Part time

Time- 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm(occasional overtime)

Qualifications / Characteristics:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to work as an effective team member;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work in a moderate to cold working environment;
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements;
  • Ability to multi-task and remain standing or moving for long periods of time.
