Title: Manager, Facilities and Property Management
Salary: $99,899 - $117,528 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)
Location: Sinclair office - located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About the role
As Manager, Facilities and Property Management, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and strategic oversight of FNHA's property portfolio. You will lead a team of coordinators and technicians, oversee vendor and contractor relationships, and ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, and functionality. As well you will be responsible for developing and implementing property management strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will ensure risks associated with each site are registered with relevant stakeholders and site risks are managed in compliance with organizational and government regulations. In addition, you will ensure and confirm insurance and risk mitigation processes are in place for each site. Along with, you will collaborate with the Leasing and Project Managers, and Health infrastructure Construction Team to ensure proper handovers.
About you
Education
- A degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Post-secondary education in real estate, business administration, facilities management, or a related field is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in property and asset management, preferably in a public sector or Indigenous organization
- Experience leading teams and overseeing external vendors or consultants
- Experience working in Indigenous, healthcare, or public sector environments is a strong asset
- Demonstrated experience directly managing multiple facilities and acting as the primary property manager
Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of facilities operations, and asset lifecycle planning
- Deep understanding of property operations, building systems, vendor performance, and client service
- Strong financial and analytical skills to support budget planning and contractor oversight
- Exceptional people management and leadership capabilities
Working conditions
- May involve evening or weekend work in response to urgent facility matters
- Office-based with occasional travel to FNHA facilities across British Columbia
- Required to work in an FNHA office location 50 percent of the time or more

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
