Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated child care worker to support the development of our 1 year old daughter.

With myself being back at work full-time and my husband owning a well-known business, we are busier than ever this year

This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for child. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to fostering positive growth and learning experiences. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while developing valuable caregiving skills.

Duties

  • Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement (outdoor Activity included)
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities and meals
  • Assist children with daily routines, including meal times, naps, and hygiene needs.
  • Foster social skills, emotional development, and independence through positive interactions
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health standards
  • cleaning/ meal prep & cooking will be involved.
  • some day shifts - mostly evenings & into the night.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children, especially in caregiving or teaching roles
  • MUST have up to date CPR/First Aid certificates.
  • Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental stages
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and child development principles
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
