Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Immigration Consultant (RCIC) who is professional, ethical, and passionate about helping clients achieve their Canadian immigration goals. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of IRPA/IRPR, a strong client service mindset, and the ability to manage a variety of immigration cases independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional consultations and assessments for new and returning clients.
  • Prepare, review, and submit complete immigration applications, ensuring compliance with IRCC requirements.
  • Represent clients before IRCC, IRB, and other relevant authorities as permitted under RCIC license.
  • Advise clients on the best immigration pathways including PR, Express Entry, PNP, Study Permits, Work Permits, Spousal Sponsorships, and Refugee claims.
  • Maintain detailed and organized client files as per CICC compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with case managers, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure smooth case flow.
  • Stay current with immigration policies, legislative updates, and CICC practice requirements.
  • Support marketing or outreach initiatives for the office as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must hold active RCIC license (CICC membership in good standing).
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Canadian immigration consulting or legal field.
  • Strong knowledge of IRPA, IRPR, and CICC Code of Professional Ethics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Punjabi/Hindi considered an asset).
  • Strong attention to detail, file management, and client service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, IRCC portals, and client management systems (experience with CRM like Officio/CaseEasy/Clio preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
