Position Reports to: Executive Leadership Team

Operational Target: Lead strategic workforce initiatives including talent acquisition, training,

and employee development.

Financial Target: Improve retention, enhance productivity, and optimize workforce

investment.

Contract Length:

This contractual term is twelve (12) months, beginning May 1st, 2025, and concluding April

30th, 2026.

Main Goals and Objectives:

● Lead strategic recruitment and hiring processes for seasonal and year-round roles.

● Develop and implement structured onboarding, training, and employee development

programs.

● Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, and employee

engagement.

● Maintain compliance with relevant labor laws and safety regulations.

● Optimize HR operational efficiency and employee retention through proactive

initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Strategy:

● Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and hiring funnels.

● Partner with department leaders to fill critical roles efficiently.

● Organize hiring events, job testing, and on-site evaluations.

Training, Onboarding & Development:

● Develop structured onboarding programs with clear Day 1/30/90 milestones.

● Conduct pre-season boot camps, specialized training, and equipment

demonstrations.

● Establish clear career progression pathways across all departments.

● Oversee the implementation and management of the Learning Management System

(LMS).

Performance & Culture:

● Implement and manage a robust performance management system.

● Conduct regular stay interviews, pulse surveys, and employee engagement

initiatives.

● Champion a safety-first, team-oriented, and accountable workplace environment.

● Foster retention through mentorship, recognition programs, and growth opportunities.

HR Operations & Compliance:

● Ensure compliance with federal/provincial labor laws, OSHA, WSIB, DOT, and safety

standards.

● Oversee payroll, compensation structures, and benefits administration.

● Track and analyze workforce metrics including hiring, retention, and employee

engagement.

● Manage and optimize digital HR tools such as HRIS and onboarding platforms.

Pay Structure / Compensation Details:

Direct Compensation:

● Annual Base Salary: $, paid biweekly

Annual Performance Bonus:

● Eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to % of annual base salary.

● Bonus payout based directly on KPI achievement.

● Bonus reviewed annually and distributed by June 15th following contract completion.

○ Annual allowance of $3,000 for professional certifications, training, and

continuing education, reimbursed upon submission of documentation.

● Vehicle Reimbursement Program:

○ Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance coverage required.
