Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, possess strong caregiving skills, and be able to engage children in educational and fun activities. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive relationship with both the children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational games and outdoor play
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to dietary restrictions as needed
- Assist with homework and provide guidance on educational tasks
- Maintain cleanliness in the children's play areas and assist with household chores related to childcare
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Provide care for children with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met with patience and understanding
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny capacity
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals for children
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment conducive to child safety
- Background in caregiving or teaching is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
