About The Opportunity
Our private sector client is seeking a dedicated
Client Service Representative
to provide exceptional customer and technical support while ensuring each client's experience exceeds expectations. The role involves responding to customer inquiries regarding technical issues, coordinating service activities, and maintaining accurate communication throughout the resolution process.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, assign tasks to appropriate individuals, and ensure all customer requests and complaints are handled effectively.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring quick and accurate solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors to schedule removal and installation of systems during re-roofing projects.
  • Assist and guide homeowners through the MicroFIT contract transfer process following property sales.
  • Apply creativity, resourcefulness, and decisiveness to prevent issues from escalating.
  • Develop open and effective communication channels with clients and collaborate across teams to resolve problems.
  • Maintain a detailed database of standard customer complaints in the CRM system.
  • Communicate efficiently with customers, demonstrating care, empathy, and urgency.
  • Take ownership of issues and adopt a resolution-oriented approach to resolve customer concerns.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on the progress of their complaint resolutions.

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • College diploma or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call centre environment
  • 2 years' experience in technical customer service preferred
  • Experience in relationship building
  • Solar or sustainable renewable industry experience a definite asset
  • Technology Savvy
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sole responsibility for deliverables
  • Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Duration: 3-month contract
  • Location: Toronto / Greater Toronto Area
  • Work Environment: Hybrid ( 3 days in office)
