JCTS Truck and Trailer is Currently Seeking a Skilled and Reliable Heavy Equipment Technician to Join our Team of Skilled Technicians. The Ideal Candidate Must have a Strong Mechanical Knowledge and Hands On Experience on Various Types and Manufacturers of Equipment. Candidates Must Have the Ability to Perform Maintenance and Repairs Efficiently.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Diagnose and Repair Mechanical Issues on a Variety of Manufactures of Heavy Equipment
  • Perform Diagnostic via Various Different Electronic Softwares
  • Strong Knowledge and Experience in Hydraulic Systems, Drive Motors, Pumps, Valves and Cylinders.
  • Strong Understanding of Electrical Systems and Lighting Systems Specific to Heavy Equipment
  • Welding , Torching, Plasma Cutting and Grinding is an Asset
  • Strong Knowledge in Engine and Emission Diagnostics and Repair
  • Ability to Perform Thorough PM Inspections and Checkovers
  • Use of Hand Tools, Power Tools, Schematics, and Diagnostic Equipment to Troubleshoot Problems
  • Follow Safety Protocols and Maintain a Clean Work Environment
  • Own a Tool Box with a Full Complement of Required Handtools and Power tools to Perform Inspections and Repairs of Buses.
  • Ability to Lift 50 Pounds
