Thompson Construction Group is hiring a Bus Driver to safely transport workers to and from project sites in the Fort McMurray area. This role involves operating a 44-passenger coach bus and providing reliable, professional transportation for our workforce.

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a 44-passenger coach bus and pickup truck when required

· Transport personnel to and from project sites in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas

· Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical concerns

· Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times

· Accurately complete all required logs, timesheets, and safety documentation

· Follow all safety policies, traffic regulations, and site rules

· Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately

· Participate in safety meetings and follow required PPE rules

· Work as part of a team and assist where needed

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of commercial bus driving experience

· Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver's licence (current driver's abstract required)

· CSO certification

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

· Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

· Physically able to perform required duties

· Ability to work in Fort McMurray on a rotational schedule and live in camp accommodations

· Must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing

This role reflects the primary duties and requirements, other related tasks may be assigned as needed.

This is a full-time, project-based, rotational position located in Fort McMurray, with camp accommodations provided.
