Description of Position

Our firm is currently seeking an AutoCAD Operator to join our team. The AutoCAD Operator provides support for the Mechanical Engineering team in terms of producing and maintaining drawings accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate is self-motivated, hardworking, willing to learn and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare detailed mechanical system design drawings using AutoCAD from preliminary concept to final production
  • Provide production assistance and mechanical design support to the design team
  • Conduct drafting as per markups provided by the design team

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Advanced knowledge and high proficiency in AutoCAD (version 2018 or higher)
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience producing and manipulating drawings and models
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic Edition and Revit is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications, Experience, and Education:

  • Associate's degree or certification from a recognized program
  • Knowledge received from previous work experience in a similar position considered an asset
