Join our team as a Hotel Renovation Construction Labourer.

In this role, you will assist with the renovation of hotel rooms by handling demolition, material removal, and basic construction support. You'll help dismantle existing room components, and maintain safe, organized work areas throughout the project.

Duties

  • Take apart and remove existing room elements such as fixtures, furniture, flooring, wall coverings, and trim.
  • Assist tradespeople by moving materials, tools, and equipment throughout the hotel safely.
  • Prepare rooms by setting up protective barriers, floor coverings, dust control measures, and safety signage.
  • Load and unload materials including new fixtures, drywall, flooring, and tools.
  • Support basic renovation tasks such as framing, drywall patching, and flooring preparation under supervision.
  • Keep all work areas clean, organized, and free of debris, ensuring hotel hallways and access points remain safe.
  • Assist team members with various tasks to meet project timelines and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • Physical stamina and strength for lifting, carrying, bending, and working for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working indoors in an active hotel environment and maintaining professionalism around guests and staff.
  • Positive teamwork attitude and willingness to learn renovation skills.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures related to demolition and construction sites is an asset.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites; a driver's license is helpful but not required.
  • Experience in renovation, demolition, construction, or labour work is an asset but not required. Training is provided.
  • Strong commitment to following all health and safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
