Administrative Assistant

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a keen interest in the window covering industry. This role involves managing a variety of administrative tasks, supporting our sales and customer service teams, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the sales and management teams.
- Handle scheduling, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars.
- Process customer orders and track order status.
- Maintain and update client records and files.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Assist with inventory management and order supplies as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as required.
- Manage office communications, including phone calls and emails.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Interest or experience in the window covering industry is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.
