UMCA Rich Tree Academy is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Art Teacher for Elementary School, Grades 1-9

The school:

UMCA RICH TREE ACADEMY is an independent private day school for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12

In doing so, UMCA maintains an atmosphere of a family environment, providing an enriched curriculum. We offer a unique learning environment designed to meet the child's individual needs and encourage each student to pursue integrity and excellence. Our curriculum meets and exceeds the requirements of the province of Ontario. UMCA Rich Tree Academy is a private school with approximately 10-12 children per grade.

Skills and qualification:

· Experienced in teaching Elementary School Art based on the Ontario School Curriculum

· Must have at least two years experience and Ontario Teaching credentials

· Ability to develop a course outline, lesson and unit plans, and various types of assessments

· Excellent organizational and communication skills, passionate about teaching and mentoring students

· Legally permitted to work in Canada

· Must have own transportation

· Native level English speaker
