Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling, developing and delivering Support Worker training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in the disabilities sector.

The successful candidate will be working with Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) which is a registered non-profit organization that supports adults with disAbilities at work, at home, and in the community. Check us out at

In this role, you will provide various types of training for our staff in person and on-line with training focused on the following courses but not limited to:

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention advanced physical skills

  • Medication Administration

  • Abuse Prevention and Response Protocol

  • Positive Behavior Support

  • Trauma Informed Care

To succeed in this position CPLF will train you as needed so that you successfully deliver the above training. You will be working with a second Training Facilitator to provide training and schedule staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
