The Role
As a Media Strategy & Planning Associate, you'll support the development and execution of media strategies that drive measurable results for our clients. You'll work across digital and traditional channels, helping build plans that connect audience insights, channel strategy, and performance data.
This role is a great fit if you're ready to strengthen your planning capabilities, take on more client-facing responsibilities, and grow toward making a strategic impact, with strong mentorship and support along the way.
What You'll Do
Support media planning: Assist in building integrated media plans across digital and traditional channels that align with client goals and KPIs.
Contribute to research & insights: Gather and interpret audience data, market research, and performance trends to inform planning recommendations.
Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with account, creative, and performance teams to support unified, effective campaigns.
Coordinate with vendors: Help source opportunities, evaluate proposals, negotiate buys & execute buys, and manage day-to-day partner communications.
Monitor performance: Track campaign delivery against KPIs, flag issues, and contribute to optimization recommendations.
Ensure accuracy: Support QA across plans, buys, and reporting deliverables including finance (BCRs).
Participate in client work: Assist with preparation of client presentations, strategy decks, tactical executions and post-campaign reports.
What You Bring
1–2 years of experience in media planning or strategy, ideally in an agency or vendor setting.
A solid understanding of digital and traditional media channels, media math, and core planning metrics.
Experience planning and managing multi-channel campaigns including digital, D/OOH, broadcast, sponsored content, etc.
Ability to analyze data and translate it into clear insights.
Familiarity with tools such as Vividata, Comscore, and media planning platforms (an asset).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
Experience managing budgets and BCRs
Strong presentation skills - experience contributing to or leading client presentations
A growth mindset and a genuine interest in building strategic planning expertise.
