Inside Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:
As a key member of the Inside Sales team at the Stratford branch, you will be required to coordinate and process Inside Sales orders, provide technical knowledge and detailed product specifications to meet customer needs. This position will focus on supporting the agricultural and residential light gauge division.
This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Supervisor.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Customer Service: Providing high levels of customer service through professional and expeditious communication on the phone and via email. Understanding and delivering customer needs. Consistent and proactive follow-up.
Sales Growth: Driving sales growth byeducating, offering / upselling other Vicwest products to accompany customers' orders.
Order Coordination: Maintaining contact with customers to ensure orders are processed, produced and shipped to the correct destination, on time and in-spec. Working with internal departments to ensure there are no delays in the sales process.
Support Territory Managers: Provide ongoing support to Territory Managers / Outside Sales Reps in maintaining SalesForce (CRM) Projects, Opportunities and Contacts.
Major Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders by checking for correct price, profile, description, quantity, and credit terms
- Interface with customers, field sales, and manufacturing on matters dealing with quotations, scheduling, delivery dates and shipping
- Assist customers with product applications by providing technical knowledge of our products
- Provide quotations from lists of materials or small material take-offs
- Upselling other Vicwest products
- Complete paperwork/forms to record required sales information
- Maintain the appropriate customer files and reports
- Perform accurate and speedy data entry
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field an asset
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service, experience in building materials or construction would be considered an asset
- Demonstrate a strong ability to multi-task, handle timelines and play close attention to details
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient is MS Office and SAP
