Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, particularly within a dealership environment. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals to determine necessary repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and disassemble vehicle components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
  • Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity and safety of the vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
