We're seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team and support our expanding business operations.

Position Overview:

The Chartered Accountant will oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, compliance, and reporting for multiple dental clinics under the group. This role involves managing accounting operations, developing financial strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while providing insights that help drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to clinic and corporate leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations, corporate filings, and financial reporting standards.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with clinic managers and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and dental industry financial practices.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA designation required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of post-designation experience, preferably in healthcare, dental, or multi-location business settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.
