Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Technician Floater join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and can respond to on-call requests. The technician will perform specialized cleaning services such as strip & wax, window cleaning, and carpet cleaning, and will also be responsible for basic repair and maintenance of janitorial equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Valid G-Class driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Experience in janitorial/cleaning services (strip & wax, window cleaning, carpet cleaning).
  • Perform on-call cleaning services across multiple client sites.
  • Complete strip & wax, buffing, carpet extraction, high dusting, and window cleaning.
  • Repair janitorial equipment (vacuum, auto scrubber, extractor, etc.).
  • Travel to locations using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain equipment in clean, functional condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and company standards.
  • Communicate with supervisors and clients professionally.

Experience

  • Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong attention to detail and janitorial skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for success in this role.
