We are regulated by the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) as both a dealer and a marketplace.

Our customers consist of CIRO dealer members and other financial industry entities from both Canada and abroad. We compete against a small group of marketplace operators, which includes stock exchanges and other equities trading platforms. Responsibilities:

Office Support

· Install and maintain laptops for staff.

· Track and manage office technology inventory (laptops, keyboards, mice, monitors, etc.).

· Provide occasional at-home tech support (rare; transportation fare covered).

· Maintain office desk setups: cabling, workstation readiness, and boardroom Webex TV tripod setup.

Windows Server Administration

· Create and maintain user accounts.

· Manage global/domain security groups.

· Create and maintain Group Policies.

· Apply monthly Windows Server updates.

· Ensure monitoring/security agents are installed and running.

Linux Administration

· Perform basic folder navigation, user management, and file permissions.

· Assist with installation and updates of Linux servers.

· Manage system services (systemd, cron jobs, SSH configuration).

· Monitor logs and system health using CLI tools.

· Perform basic troubleshooting of OS, networking, and application issues.

· Write simple shell scripts (bash) for routine automation tasks.

Networking & Infrastructure

· Apply basic networking knowledge for both physical and virtual environments.

· Support Cisco Duo for single sign-on (SSO) and VPN troubleshooting.

· Add/remove users and maintain Duo policies.

· Assist with firewall rules, VLANs, and VPN setups under guidance.

Monitoring & Security Tools

· Work with SentinelOne, Arctic Wolf, and Zabbix/PagerDuty for monitoring, alerts, and endpoint security.

· Respond to system alerts and escalate when necessary.

Inventory & Documentation

· Maintain accurate hardware inventory in NetBox (training provided).

· Document system changes, troubleshooting steps, and IT procedures.

Collaboration & Ticketing Tools

· Support Jira administration (add/remove/edit users, privileges).

· Maintain Jira Confluence user spaces and permissions.

Skills:

· Basic Linux knowledge (command line, file permissions, system services)

· Intune knowledge is beneficial

· Basic networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing)

· Familiarity with monitoring/security tools is a plus

· Experience with Jira/Confluence administration is a plus

· Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting HPE ProLiant Gen Servers

· Planning, configuration, and operational support to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of both Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems (RHEL or Ubuntu)

· Effective and efficient communication skills – both verbal and written

· Strong ability to multitask and prioritize competing interests

· Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn new technologies

· Comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical staff

· Self-starter requiring minimal supervision with the ability to work independently and in teams

Experience:

· Experience in Business Operations, Customer Service or Technical Support appreciated

· Experience with operational processes and procedures is beneficial

· Knowledge of Canadian Capital Markets and low latency trading environments preferred
