Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated early morning Bread Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing the load, counting sorting and making orders for each store, loading and unloading, and merchandising while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong computer and communications skills.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport bread to designated locations.
  • Load and unload bread, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any changes in schedule.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and basic computer skills.
  • Able to work early morning shifts starting at midnight.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
