This role requires empathy, cultural understanding, and the ability to guide families with patience and respect as they move toward long-term stability.

What You'll Do

  • Work collaboratively with other program leads, social workers, and community service providers.
  • Help families establish daily routines and develop life skills that promote independence and well-being.
  • Support and coach parents in areas such as emotional regulation, communication, and parenting techniques.

  • Maintain a culturally safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all families served.

About You

You value collaboration, respect cultural diversity, and understand the importance of trauma-informed care. You approach your work with patience, consistency, and compassion — always focused on building trust and stability.

  • Experience working with families facing trauma, addictions, or mental health challenges.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work calmly under pressure.
  • Culturally sensitive and comfortable working within Indigenous communities.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
