Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join the B-Line team. An established shop with over 25 years i operation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for automotive repair tasks.
  • Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify necessary repairs.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed during the repair process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair options.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various automotive systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
  • Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagnostic equipment is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
  • Be available to work from Tuesday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
