Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is highly dependable and detail-orientated. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Smithwick's Physiotherapy is a family-owned clinic with over 100 years of history, proudly serving the Saskatoon community since its founding in 1921. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a warm and professional environment.
Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take payments and bill insurance providers such as SGI, WCB, Canada Life, SunLife etc.
- Schedule appointments and manage bookings efficiently
- Daily and bi-weekly billing/reconciliations.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Handle filing and organization of documents to ensure easy access to information with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide clerical support including typing, proofreading, and preparing correspondence.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for various administrative tasks.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and clerical duties.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of how to use social media and maintain a social presence.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents.
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
- A desire for a long term, full-time role where you can grow with the team.
