Quality Inspector

AECOM is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Undertakes quality control and quality assurance related inspection activities throughout the design, construction, handover, and closeout phases.
- Prepares and presents regular progress reports including reporting on key quality metrics including suggesting corrective actions.
- Ensures conformance to the required quality management standards.
- Provides input to submittals, RFIs, O&M manuals, and other technical documentation as needed.
- Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
- Provides input to documentation for area/equipment turnovers.
- Implements and follows quality assurance program procedures.
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS + Minimum 4 years of professional experience in large complex projects.
- Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing management reports.
- Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including contractors and other site personnel.
- Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
Preferred Requirements:
- 6 years + of professional experience in a quality control and / or quality assurance function.
- On-site experience.
