Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with their vehicle needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for the automotive industry, enabling them to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services required and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance.
  • Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Stay updated on automotive products, services, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive dealership or repair environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge or background in automotive repair is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to customers.
  • Proven upselling skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • A team player who is eager to learn and grow within the automotive field.
