About the Role:
Farmer Construction is seeking experienced Superintendents to join our team for multiple upcoming commercial and institutional projects across Greater Victoria. The ideal candidate is a proven site leader who can manage day-to-day construction activities, maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and subcontractor coordination.
- Manage site safety in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Conduct regular site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project drawings and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or institutional construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety practices and trade coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Gold Seal Certification or equivalent considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on active job sites through Greater Victoria
