Our permitted hazardous waste treatment facility located outside of Princeton, B.C., utilizes thermal desorption technology to treat a wide range of industrial waste and contaminated soil.

The Opportunity

ETL is looking for a Store Clerk/Warehouse Clerk with proven experience to join our team.

The Stores Clerk/Warehouse Clerk works under the direction of the designated Supervisor and collaborates with other employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered to.

The individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory, receiving, picking parts & assemble kits and other duties applicable to the warehouse. Integrity, numerical acccuracy and strong attention to detail are crucial for this role.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in working in a warehouse is considered an asset

· High School Diploma required

· Licence: Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

· Language: English

· Proficient use of office-based software including computerized procurement systems, Microsoft Office Suite (mid level excel and word skills required)

· Solid work history and attendance record

· Attention to detail and ability to maintain warehouse inventory accurately by entering ins/outs.

· Exceptional organizational skills to carry out expected duties for the role

· A good team player

Core Job Duties

· Maintain Inventory, proper storage and keep tools organized

· Inspect tools and sign out and sign in tools as used/returned

· Organize Inventory and parts

· Copy and retain invoices for filing

· Maintain ongoing inventory of outgoing parts

· Assign parts to workorders

· Undertake physical inventory counts and carry out stock checks on a monthly basis

· Report any discrepancies immediately to Supervisor

· Propane filing for forklift

· Manage shipments on a daily basis, collaborates with appropriate parties (e.g., Admin staff, Supervisors) to review expected deliveries

· Forklift Operation (training will be provided)

· Ensure shipments are signed upon receipt

· Packages are unloaded from incoming trucks, contents are inspected to ensure they are not damaged and packages are verified according to orders and invoices

· Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly

· Create new items in Asset Essentials (AE) with required information such as location, storage , minimum and maximum inventory levels

· Determine storage locations in the facility independently

· Ensure access control in place are followed by staff

· Assign parts to relevant work orders

· Confirm the accuracy of the Cintas invoices by comparing against services rendered. Report any discrepancies to Cintas and ensure corrections are done promptly

· Keep warehouse area clean and safe

· Undertake other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

ETL has a competitive compensation plan including health benefit package, group retirement savings program (RRSP), production bonuses, holiday bonuses, supporting training, and a generous PPE allowance (up to $450.00 for boots and specialized clothing).

This safety-sensitive position must be filled immediately. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required for this safety-sensitive position as immediate site access is required.
