Our client is a highly respected, full-service law firm with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional legal services. The firm is seeking an experienced
Residential Real Estate Law Clerk
to join its Hamilton office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential real estate transactions from start to finish, including purchases, sales, and mortgage/refinance files.
  • Prepare and review closing documents, including purchase and sale agreements, statements of adjustments, and closing packages.
  • Conduct title and off-title searches, review title insurance requirements, and resolve title-related issues.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth and timely closings.
  • Draft and register documents using Teraview and other real estate software.
  • Maintain accurate file documentation and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Provide exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum
    3+ years of experience
    as a Real Estate Law Clerk, with a focus on residential transactions.
  • Completion of a recognized Law Clerk program or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of title searches, real estate documentation, and closing procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
