Care Possible is an online platform where clients seeking self-managed care services like in-home care and respite connect with care providers. Supported by our Customer Experience team, our community of Independent Care Providers delivers exceptional service to clients throughout Manitoba based on their individual needs.

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a compassionate, reliable, patient respite provider to join our community and support the health, well-being, and social engagement of our client's active mother as she ages in the community

Their mom is full of life and enjoys morning exercise, Bocce ball, music, dancing, and taking several walks each day. Our client is looking for someone who can provide companionship and bring joy, laughter, and positivity into their mom's daily routine.

Care Possible is not an employer, the role would be as an Independent Care Provider meaning you and your client(s) will agree on schedules and rates of pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help the client join community activities.
  • Assist in light housekeeping.
  • Assist with personal hygiene routines and activities of daily living.
  • Support & accompany with walking, physical activity and exercise.
  • Provide assistance with administering medications.
  • Provide companionship and maintain safe, respectful and engaging environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the client and family.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Because this is an immediate opportunity, recent background checks are strongly encouraged
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Prior experience working with clients living with dementia is considered an asset
  • Male care providers are encouraged to apply

Schedule Requested:

  • Monday - Friday starting 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
