Signature Support Services provides support to people with developmental disabilities in their home, work and leisure environments.

As a Job Coach in the Employment Supports Program (ESP) you are responsible for ensuring that support is provided to individuals to obtain and maintain work experience and paid employment positions in the community. This includes job searching/developing on behalf of the individuals you support as well as assisting them with their job where necessary and supporting them as they work towards independence. Job Coach are also responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for their client caseload is kept up to date and accurate. This position will also be responsible to develop and teach life skill classes on a regular basis. They will work closely with community businesses and agency staff to provide a positive approach that emphasizes idivi growth. The main hours of work are Tuesday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. Pay range is $ per hour.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • No experience necessary. Extensive training will be provided.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Effective communication/interpersonal skills
  • Good Team Player
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good computer skills which must include experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good Time Management Skills
  • Driver's license and own reliable vehicle – extensive use of vehicle is required as well as ability to transfer clients along with their walkers and wheelchairs when necessary. We do reimburse all kilometers.
  • Physically and Mentally fit
