RAPS is Seeking a Full time Live-In caregiver to assist an individual who has MS (E7)

Location: South Edmonton

Days: 5 days a week. (these are not consecutive)

Daytime working hours, night assistance will be required.

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Personal care (bathing, toileting, hygiene) Catheter care, Ceiling lift and wheelchair transfers, Meal preparation and feeding assistance, Medication and supplement management, General housekeeping and laundry, Caring for 2 cats (feeding & litter box), Maintain simple daily care log and inventory, Occasional taxi-accompanied appointments,

Nighttime availability for minor needs (usually low 1-2 x nightly)

Note: 2 cats in the home.

Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, first aid/ CPR certificates and experience in a similar role and speak clear, fluent English.

The ideal candidate will be Patient, Dependable and able to work independently.

Rate of Pay: $5000/month
