Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated equipment.
  • Conduct welding repairs and fabrication as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities.
  • Supervise or assist in supervising contractors when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance procedures, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in training team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic work.
  • Supervising experience is preferred for leadership responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and CMMS software is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and facilities maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and manuals effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
