The Content Strategy team is a dedicated group who are responsible for programming the TSN television and digital universe to ensure TSN's place as Canada's Sports Leader. Our team is responsible for the end-to-end management of the sports programming that goes onto TSN's channels and platforms – starting with strategy and acquisition and moving through scheduling, delivery, intake and broadcast.

The TSN Content Strategist role will be front and centre working on the strategic programming of the TSN linear television channels, helping to build out and manage the schedule of our various sports events. Learning from the best in the business, you will participate in scheduling decisions and work with the team to build lineups to support our sports and grow our audience. The position will also be responsible for supporting the broader Content Strategy team as we work through strategic programming goals and objectives in the digital age.

Responsibilities Utilize business and sports expertise to maximize TSN's programming value across digital and linear platformsResearch and plan for sports propertiesResponsible for creating and maintaining multiple scheduling databasesBe able to plan and communicate on-air troubleshooting scenarios for live eventsMust be able to work Saturday and SundayWork cooperatively with internal departments to ensure effective communication of all content plansResponsible for preparation and communication of programming and contentWork directly with key internal and external stakeholders (including sports leagues)Screen and prepare content for broadcastMaintain the FEED Resources schedule with up to date requirements based on program needsFollow program schedules and arrange tools required to aid our Presentation Coordinators in MCRTroubleshoot on-air programming issuesMaintain the FEED Resources schedule with up to date requirements based on program needsFollow program schedules and arrange tools required to aid our Presentation Coordinators in MCRTroubleshoot on-air programming issuesOther duties as assigned Qualifications Strong sports knowledge and a passion for sports requiredExperience in a media environment strongly preferredMaintain accuracy while handling multiple projects on a daily basisMust be able to maintain large volumes of information within a programming databaseAbility to catch errors and have the analytical ability to seek solutions to correct themMust be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, while comfortable managing your own deadlinesPrevious experience with IBMS, cue sheets, and paper editing an asset but not required
